A new favourite!!!

Wow. This soap is a godsend, as a vegan it's difficult to find vegan friendly soaps. I found this soap to be an excellent performer. The scent is absolutely amazing, it's a woody, spicy fougere scent that is rather complex on the nose. The lather is fantastic, a lot of cushion with plenty of residual slickness, I had no problems going over the same area multiple times. I've tried a dozen odd soaps and this has to be in my top 3. I'll definitely be buying more Wickham soaps in the future and definitely from Agent shave as their packaging and customer service is second to none. My only concern was when the soap arrived, the puck looked a little too dry, possibly a little crumbly, however this had no effect on the scent or performance and after the first use, it looks and performs like any other croap/soap.

A great Fougere, just like walking through the woods surrounded by ferns!

If your a seasoned traditional shaver, you would already know that Wickham's 1912 is one of the best UK soaps out there, actually, there probably one of the best vegan soaps out there worldwide.......period and probably have at least a couple in your den, if your new to traditional shaving, you will soon come across them and I pretty much guarantee you will be purchasing at least one, there reputation really precedes them. Now. more importantly onto the soap itself, the scent is as the title describes a great Fougere, a true fern scent not artificial (which is very important and a sign of a great soap maker), I can pick out most of the top and heart notes, this is my second favourite 1912 (Scottish Heather being my first) this is a good choice for all year round, it's slickness and residual slickness are top notch, there are so many good things about it, just read the info, if I had to be critical it's a shame the name was removed from the side of the tub which helped if you stacked them.
