The trick with this soap is the old one of putting some hot water into the tub, screwing the top back on and leaving that while preparing for your shave. This ensures great lather. A different scent to the usual but one that has grown on me. This will most certainly be one of my "regular" shaving soaps.
My second Wickham soap, I previously had Russian Leather, which has just run out after 18 months of weekly use. Like that Classic 24 offers an excellent shave and sits somewhere between a traditional bowl soap and croap. What I'm not over keen on is the fragrance, which is a bit too strong on the pineapple. I also note that the price has increased which is why I'm dropping a star.
